Training Programs On Neuro-Linguistic Programming And Emotional Intelligence Held For NGOs
In an attempt to draw attention to holistic development professionals and their communities, People Development Training Center conducted training programs on Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Emotional Intelligence.
In Neuro-Linguistic Programming, the participants enhanced their linguistic habits and methods to program the mind for a better understanding of communities and inculcate a positive approach to life. Through the emotional intelligence program, the professionals were introduced to techniques to deal with their emotions in a professional setting especially while connecting with communities at the grassroots level.
Over 30 development professionals from three countries participated in the programs.
“It is very important for us to have control of our emotions and the right amount of compassion for others, especially while interacting with communities on multiple levels. It is very thoughtful of Bala Vikasa to design programs like these not just for communities but also for imparting it in communities,” said James Terke, Support for Peace and Education Development Center, South Sudan.
