Fitness enthusiasts champion Bala Vikasa Safe Water Revolution on Impact App, Walk 21 Million Steps to Help Fund 2 Purification Plants

Fitness enthusiasts champion Bala Vikasa Safe Water Revolution on Impact App, Walk 21 Million Steps to Help Fund 2 Purification Plants

Over 23 days last November, 273 fitness enthusiasts walked 21 Million steps and recorded it on the Mumbai-based Impact Mobile App, to help raise funds for our Safe Water Revolution Community Water Purification Projects.

Impact App’s CSR Partner FluentGrid sponsored these steps and committed to funding 2 CWPPs in 2 villages of the Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. The purification plant projects are expected to serve the needs of marginalized fishing communities.

Fluentgrid Limited is an energy utility and city ICT solutions company with industry-standard software products facilitating the global movement towards smart grids and smarter cities for a sustainable planet. They are one of the CSR partners on the Impact App. The company sponsored Rs 10 for every 1250 steps recorded on the Impact App for this campaign and contributed Rs 5,00,000 for the cause.
