Training Programs Held For Elected Village-Level Leaders To Bring Reforms In Perception of Widowhood
Over 5000 village-level elected leaders participated in the capacity-building sessions held on ‘Effective Leadership - Resource Utilization, Role of Elected Leaders in Social Change,’ with the support of Manos Unidas from various districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The participants enhanced their knowledge on Effective Leadership, the ABCD Approach, the Panchayat Raj Act and the role of sarpanches in changing the perception of widowhood in villages.
Shoury Reddy Singreddy, Executive Director, Bala Vikasa delivered the sessions and local MLAs, district collectors and other officials participated as guests in the training programs of their respective districts.

The times are changing and it is very important that we change along with them too.
