Three-Day Exposure Visit Conducted For Development Professionals To Interact With Communities And Witness The Impact Of The Development Projects
Bala Vikasa People Development Center in October conducted an exposure visit to development professionals for the first time after the novel coronavirus outbreak. The visit was conducted to connect the development professionals with the communities and get acquainted with the best practices community members follow to motivate themselves in implementing the development projects to their full potential.
During the visit, the participants identified ways to mobilize communities and utilize the assets and resources available to them for the best results.
“It was a great experience to visit model villages. I learned a lot from the communities and the methods they use, especially in motivating each other to work for themselves which will lead to the overall development of the communities. I am glad to be able to interact with community leaders and witness their governance,” said V Mastyaraju, Adivasimitra Welfare Society, Andhra Pradesh.
