In partnership with CII(SR) Water Alliance, Bala Vikasa has restored and conserved water bodies through tank desiltation, stone revetment and deepening activities in Eguvarpalayam village of Tiruvallur district in Tamil Nadu.
Through the initiative, supported by Kemin Industries, the water storage capacity of two ponds has been increased by a total of 53.2 Million Litres contributing to our efforts to address climate change and pave the way for a sustainable future. The increased storage will also be providing irrigation to nearly 150 acres of agricultural land.
