145+ Farmers to Benefit from Silt Excavation in 8 Villages of Andhra Pradesh

145+ Farmers to Benefit from Silt Excavation in 8 Villages of Andhra Pradesh

A total of 15446 tractor loads of silt were excavated from the tanks in the eight villages of Andhra Pradesh including Gudimetta, Kotha Zaddavaripalem, Mylavaram villages. The excavated silt was applied in 396+ acres of land benefiting over 145 farmers from all the villages.

The applied silt will improve soil fertility and crop quality, thereby reducing crop investment for farmers and increasing their income.
