Telangana Government Seeks Bala Vikasa Proposal for Setting Up 6 Sujal ATW Kiosks in Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad
Telangana’s Department of Health and Family Welfare asked Bala Vikasa to submit a project proposal for setting up 6 Sujal ATWs in Osmania General Hospital at Hyderabad, last December.
The Commissioner of Telangana Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ms Vakati Karuna, IAS, has sought a plan from Bala Vikasa to look at Safe water solutions that can serve the needs of thousands of poor patients and their attendants in the Osmania General Hospital.
The IAS officer, who is the former Collector of Warangal District, had witnessed first-hand the effectiveness of the Sujal ATW project in Warangal. We have established 13 kiosks across Warangal, including the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, with the support of the district administration and the Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC).
Having seen the impact of the innovative Sujal ATW project in Warangal, Ms Karuna has approached Bala Vikasa to Propose Sujal ATW projects in the OGH premises.
