Siddipet Steel Bank Mentioned in Parliament Economic Survey 2024

The Siddipet Steel Bank, an initiative by former Telangana state Finance Minister Harish Rao and facilitated by Bala Vikasa gained recognition in the Parliament Economic Survey 2024  as a sustainable initiative. 

The Steel Bank provides various steel utensils to address the excessive plastic consumption during functions and celebrations. Managed by women members of Self Help Groups, the initiative also offers livelihood opportunities to the women making them financially secure and independent.  

 Bala Vikasa actively participated in facilitating the implementation of this innovative initiative collaborating with local authorities.
