Bala Vikasa CSRB wraps up webinar series on social entrepreneurship with panel discussions and knowledge sharing sessions
To strengthen the SE ecosystem and draw attention to the less explored aspects of Social Entrepreneurship, Bala Vikasa Center For Social and Responsible Business (CSRB) launched a webinar series ‘Why Social Enterprises Succeed/Fail.’ As a part of this, Bala Vikasa CSRB curated 8-panel discussions on key factors that contribute to the success and failure of social enterprises with renowned subject matter experts from the industry.
Over 500 Social Entrepreneurs, incubators, impact investors, academicians, students and others from across the country participated in the panel discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions that discussed topics like Monitoring and Evaluation, Community and Stakeholder Management, and Research and Data Analytics, the need and importance of Legal and Tax Management, and Fundraising: Startup Pitch Deck in August and September.
Through the sessions, Bala Vikasa CSRB was a bridge between industry experts and social entrepreneurs, and social entrepreneurship enthusiasts helping them to get through the hurdles of social entrepreneurship with professional support.
“The sessions helped us analyse the structure and management of our enterprise and what we can do more differently and not compromise on our vision to scale and sustain the enterprise. Attending the sessions helped me connect with many other Social Entrepreneurs and other industry experts whom I can approach for suggestions, collaborations and mentorships,” said Krishna Bhattacharjee, Social Entrepreneur.
