First Solar Based Water Purification Plant set up in Pamena
Bala Vikasa inaugurated its first solar-based Community Water Purification Plant (CWPP) in Pamena village of Rangareddy district with the support of our CSR Partner NextEnergy Foundation.
The residents of the village were suffering from tooth decay, severe joint pains, and other health ailments due to the high fluoride content in the water. Nearly 92% of the village population was dependent on commercial water cans that were expensive for them to afford.
The water purification plant will provide improved access to clean and safe drinking water at an affordable price of Rs 3 per 20 liters to about 380 families of the Pamena village.
