Community Water Purification Plant set up in Palnadu

Community Water Purification Plant set up in Palnadu

Extending its Safe Water program services, Bala Vikasa established a new Water Purification Plant (WPP) at Palnadu with the support of its CSR partner Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA). 

A total of 23 villages of the Narasaraopet Division of Andhra Pradesh will now have improved and affordable access to safe drinking water at Rs 3 per 20 liters, through this WPP. 

“We used to suffer a lot to get safe drinking water, sometimes it would be very expensive for us. Having access to purified drinking water at just Rs 3 for 20 liters is not just a blessing for our pockets but also our health.”
