Nasaraopet MP Inaugurates Community Water Purification Plants
About 3500 people will benefit from the Community Water Purification Plants set up in two fluoride - affected villages of Kanamarlapudi and Mundruvaripalem, Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh
The Water Plants, installed with the support of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) will provide 20 litres of purified drinking water for Rs 5. Sri Krishna Devarayulu Lavu, Narasaraopet, MP and Gonuguntla Venkat Shiva Sita Rama Anjaneyulu, MLA inaugurated the water purification plants in the presence of Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director, Bala Vikasa, representatives of IREDA and other program managers. The people’s representatives interacted with the communities and assured their support to many such development interventions going forward.
