Bala Vikasa Center For Social and Responsible Business conducted a panel discussion on ‘Effective Implementation of CSR Projects Amid The Pandemic: Challenges and Opportunities,’ as a part of a webinar series curated to disseminate knowledge sharing in CSR Advisory in July.
Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director, Bala Vikasa, and Dr. Avanish Kumar, Director, CSR, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation were the panelists of the session, and Vijay Kumar Machcha, Manager, Responsible Business & CSR, Bala Vikasa CSRB moderated the discussion.
The discussion focused on the state of the development sector and CSR programs amidst the pandemic, how to overcome the challenges posed by the unprecedented crisis, opportunities, and best practices in CSR programs, forecast trends, and advice for stakeholders. About 73 CSR professionals, corporates and foundations, NGOs/CSOs, and academia and research institutes participated in the session.
