Bala Vikasa ED speaks on Community Water Purification Plants Maintenance at Aguasan Workshop
Bala Vikasa Executive Director, Shoury Reddy Singareddy presented one of our innovative sustainable development models at the 37th Aguasan Workshop, Switzerland on 'Using Data for Action and for Impact - Digitalization and Data Management in the Water Sector'.
During the event, Mr Shoury Reddy elaborated on the operations and maintenance of our Any Time Water (ATW) system integrated in the Community Water Purification Plants set up in rural communities.
Aguasan is an interdisciplinary Community of Practice (CoP) that brings together a broad range of specialists to promote wider and deeper understanding of key issues in water and sanitation in international cooperation. About 50 sector specialists gather for five days to collectively reflect on cutting edge topics in the water sector. This year the workshop covers Citizen Science for Water Quality Monitoring, Digitalization in Rural and Small-Town Water Services or Digital tools for Water and Climate Resilience.
