Training Programs Conducted on Development Approaches of Community Development
The 57th batch of the two-week training program on Community Driven Sustainable Development was conducted with international development students and professionals from across the world in July, this year.
The training program included training sessions on various development approaches like Result Based Management (RBM), Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) and others. A field exposure visit to Bala Vikasa’s development initiatives in various villages was also conducted for the participants. They interacted with the beneficiaries and the committee members to understand various personalised strategies and approaches for the effective implementation and sustainability of the development programs.
Similarly, a customised orientation session was conducted to the members of the Rural Development Trust on the development approaches along with field exposure visit.
An international virtual training program was also conducted with 22 development professionals participating from across the world. The training focused on Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Result Based Management (RBM).
