Encouraging Women to take up backyard gardening and contribute to environmental conservation
About 8374 Kitchen Garden Kits and 7800 fruit saplings were distributed to women members of our Integrated Women Development program in 255 villages of Karimnagar, Siddipet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Rangareddy and Nagarkurnool.
The kitchen garden kit consists of 6 varieties of seeds including Ladies Finger, Leafy Vegetables, Green Chilli, Beans, Tomato and Brinjal. The activity was initiated to foster a sense of environmental consciousness among the members and also improve access to nutritious meals with less financial burden.
