Bala Vikasa Conducts Awareness Campaigns To Promote Digital Education In Rangareddy District
With an objective to promote digital education and improve digital literacy among rural poor children, Bala Vikasa with the support of Amazon conducted an orientation workshop on setting up and maintenance of computer labs in government schools.
The program was implemented in eight villages - Thukkuguda, Meerakhanpet, Pulimamidi, Jillelaguda, Mamipalli and Ravirala Schools of Rangareddy district.
“The COVID pandemic had made the already existing digital divide more visible. It is time that institutions include improving digital literacy as part of their curriculum, especially among the rural poor students. I am grateful to Bala Vikasa and Amazon for this initiative,” said Shanti, Teacher.
