Bala Vikasa CSRB hosts monthly meeting of Hyderabad based incubators, mentors, and other diverse stakeholders of the startup ecosystem in Telangana
In September this year, Bala Vikasa CSRB hosted the monthly incubator’s meet. More than 25 incubators from across Telangana met at Bala Vikasa Campus, Ghatkesar and deliberated on future focus areas for supporting start-ups in the state. Dr Shanta Thoutam, Chief Innovation Officer of Telangana and Head, Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC), Viiveck Verma, Senior Advisor at TSIC, Vinutha Rallapali, Director of Investing and Funding Ecosystem, T-Hub Foundation, Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director, Bala Vikasa, Rahul Bhardwaj, Senior Director and Head, Bala Vikasa CSRB, Vijender Mogili, Manager, Social Entrepreneurship, Bala Vikasa Center for Social and Responsible Business among others took part in the meeting and explored synergies.
The other incubators present were AIC ALEAP - WE HUB, CIE-IIIT, DLabs at ISB, EdVenture Incubation Foundation, HITEX, IARE Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre, T-Hub Foundation, TBI BITS Pilani, Hyderabad and other such institutions participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the participants worked towards identifying potential strategic initiatives for strengthening the state innovation and incubation system. Bala Vikasa is grateful to be a collaborator and contributor to discourses that will shape the future of innovation and entrepreneurship for the sustainable and holistic development of communities. Bala Vikasa was requested to lead the strategic initiatives towards developing the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in the state.
“It was great meeting all the incubators and all the other professionals of the industry at one place. It was helpful to connect and collaborate with others, understand the sector better and work together. With so much expertise and facilities like the BVIC campus we can together make a difference in the sector,” said Prashant, BITS Pilani Hyderabad.
