Bala Vikasa Supports Amazon in Setting up Amazon 21st Century Learning Lab
The Amazon 21st Century Learning Lab opens its doors to the students of Keesara Government School in partnership with Bala Vikasa. The inauguration of the lab has provided students with a vibrant learning space of their own – one that stimulates curiosity and nurtures creativity. In today’s digitally connected world teaching-learning practices are evolving at a rapid pace and to match that pace, the launch of the digital devices’ distribution program has played a crucial role.
Shoury Reddy Singareddy, Executive Director of Bala Vikasa inaugurated the 21st Century Learning Lab program. More than 500 students will benefit from this initiative. They will explore new concepts, inquire and ideate within these walls and build skills that pave the path for their progress in the world outside which will make tech-enabled learning more inclusive, qualitative and collaborative at every level.
“As I am from a remote village we rarely get the opportunity to get access to computer education with the internet. Digital education made science classes more interesting as we learned how to practically apply the concepts we read at school by watching videos. It also helps us to explore various subjects, especially science of interest beyond what is taught in class. I feel very blessed to get such an opportunity at a very young age in my life.”
