Bala Vikasa CSRB’s Incubatees Secure Major Funding from KeyBlocks

Bala Vikasa Center for Social and Responsible Business (CSRB) continues to make strides in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem with two of its incubatees securing large-scale funding from KeyBlocks Strategy Consulting.
Social startups, iCare and Elementra, supported by Bala Vikasa CSRB’s Incubation Program - Promote and Incubate Social Enterprises (PrISE), were recognized for their innovative solutions to community problems. KeyBlocks Strategy Consulting has committed substantial funding to help these startups scale their businesses and impact. They were announced at the launch event of Own A Startup, an initiative by KeyBlocks to support startups in establishing their businesses, held at T-Hub.
Elementra, a startup manufacturing and distributing incinerators as a waste management solution, especially for non-biodegradable sanitary waste, will receive INR 2 Crores. Another startup, iCare Foundation,Telangana, which provides a basic annual health check-up to every family and helps maintain a digital medical record for future reference, is set to receive funding of INR 40 Lakhs.
“Our Incubation Program is specifically designed to support social entrepreneurs and startups in navigating the challenges of the ecosystem and turning them into opportunities for scaling. This is a moment of pride for Bala Vikasa CSRB, as we have been making efforts to strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem and instil confidence that this is a flourishing sector driving social change in the future. These funds/grants are a testament to that,” said Rahul Bhardwaj, Senior Director, Bala Vikasa CSRB.
