Farmers are also being appraised of the benefits of organic inputs in order to wean them away from the use of potent chemical formulations in the form of pesticides and fertilizers. The top priority of Bala Vikasa is to reduce the use of toxic substances that result in air, water and food contamination while negatively impacting soil fertility.
