How to support the program
Bala Vikasa welcomes any size of donations from individuals in India or abroad, national and international donor agencies, corporate bodies, NRIs etc. who are interested to be part of this noble cause. Bala Vikasa assures the utilization of funds in the most economical way and be transparent in all the dealings and report to the donor. The donors will be welcomed any time to visit the project.
The cost of the project is calculated according to the number of trips to excavate from a tank. Generally we motivate the villagers to take minimum of 4000 tractor loads of silt to have significant impact. If the villagers are active in large number, good silt available in the tank then the loads will be increased accordingly without limitation.
Bala Vikasa pays Rs. 30 for loading each tractor and on an average each farmers will spend about Rs. 60 for transport and Rs. 10 for spreading the silt in the farm which makes a total or Rs. 70 by farmers. The ratio is 30 : 70%
To excavate 4000 loads * Rs. 30 = Rs. 1,20,000 ( 2,700 US $)
To transport and spread 4000 lads * Rs. 70 ( 60+10) = Rs. 2,80,000 ( 6,370 US $)
You can support the program by number of trips @ Rs. 30 ( .70 Cents US) each
If a donor come forward to sponsor not less than 4000 loads would be allocated a village and if the contributions are for less than 4000 loads it will be put in the general fund and report to the donors on how it is utilized.
The donor will be supplied with the information before the implementation and after the implementation with the achieved goals. A donor name plate would be installed in a permanent way at the tank site in recognition of the contributions. A detailed report along with the photos would be sent to the donor after the completion of the program.
