Bala Vikasa Social Service Society is a registered voluntary rural development organization based at Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India working for the integrated development of the rural communities without discrimination of caste, religion, region etc. especially in the state of Andhra Pradesh with a large network of NGOs spread all over the province.

Bala Vikasa is a sister concern of an international development organization SOPAR established in 1977, based at Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.
Bala Vikasa is established during the year 1991 by Mrs. Bala Theresa Gingras an Indian born visionary and a noted philanthropist married a French Canadian Mr. Andre Gingras and settled in Canada 35 years ago. SOPAR in Canada and Bala Vikasa in India are the out comes of her desire to help the motherland India.

Bala Vikasa receives funds from different donor organizations in Canada, Europe, Asia etc. Bala Vikasa plays a dual role of donor and executor. It provides funds to different NGOs and also implements directly various integrated development programs. Bala Vikasa is one of the leading NGOs in the country and implemented the following programs through its network:

Women Integrated Development Program in 1,553 villages in 22 districts of Andhra Pradesh with 1,200 groups comprising of  1,75,231members  with a network of 43 NGOs.
Drinking Water Projects supporting more than one million people in about 3,288 villages with 5,217 Bore Wells and 510 Over Head Tank in Andhra Pradesh with a network of 15 NGOs.
De-fluoridation Projects supporting 100 water purification plants in 100 Fluoride affected villages in the 7 fluoride affected  districts in Andhra Pradesh.
Renovated more than 414 Traditional Water Reservoirs in 12 drought-prone districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Training Center for strengthening the NGOs and GOs at National and International level and also for the CBOs, people elected to public bodies etc. at the gross root level
Integrated Farmers Development Program through 8 farmers cooperatives in 4 districts
